Sarah Jordan, BSW, MSW, LCSW-A
Bachelor of Social Work - Master of Social Work - Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate
I received my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Appalachian State University. I did internships in the Ashe County School System, where I found my love of working with children of all different backgrounds. I currently have my License in Clinical Social Work. I have experience with children from Kindergarten through twelfth grade focusing on anxiety, depression, confidence, and so much more. I have worked in groups and with individuals to improve social and emotional health.
I know how feeling lost, hurt, and confused can be. That feeling of loneliness and sadness that you feel like you just can’t shake. I am here to help you feel your feelings and to help you navigate this crazy world we live in. Having the courage to acknowledge that something has changed within yourself or your life is a big deal and if you’re reading this, you’re already doing amazing.
My name is Sarah and I am here to help you through some of this world’s craziness. I love to dance and am currently a dance teacher as well. I work with many ages teaching them the art and love of dance. My favorite animal is a cow and there will almost always be something cow related in my office. I believe I will always be a kid at heart and love to play, no matter how old I get.
Together, we can navigate your journey toward healing and self-discovery, fostering a supportive environment where you can learn to thrive.
